Meet Dr. Palav

Dr. Anjali Palav is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in neuropsychology. For the past ten years, she served as a staff neuropsychologist at the Neurodevelopmental Center of Memorial Hospital of RI. As a clinician, she has completed assessments with children, adolescents, and young adults with a variety of neurodevelopmental, psychiatric, and neurological challenges including ADHD, learning disabilities, communication disorders, autism spectrum disorders, anxiety, depression, sports concussion, traumatic brain injury, and seizure disorders.

As an educator, Dr. Palav is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She has supervised numerous clinical psychology interns and pediatric neuropsychology fellows. She served as the primary supervisor for neuropsychology training at the Neurodevelopmental Center for seven years.

Dr. Palav earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the State University of New York at Albany in 2003. She completed her clinical internship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and her postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at Brown University. She earned her bachelors and masters degrees in psychology from Stanford University.
