Meet Dr. Palav

Dr. Anjali Palav is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in neuropsychology. As a clinician, she has completed assessments with over 1,000 children, adolescents, and young adults with a variety of neurodevelopmental, psychiatric, and neurological challenges including ADHD, learning disabilities, language disorders, autism spectrum disorders, anxiety, depression, sports concussion, and traumatic brain injury. She served as a staff neuropsychologist at the Neurodevelopmental Center of Memorial Hospital of RI (now NEPIN) for ten years.

As an educator, Dr. Palav is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She has supervised numerous clinical psychology interns and pediatric neuropsychology fellows. She served as the primary supervisor for neuropsychology training at the Neurodevelopmental Center (now NEPIN) for seven years.

Dr. Palav earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the State University of New York at Albany. She completed her clinical internship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and her postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at Brown University. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in psychology from Stanford University.
